Location
The Chesed Shel Emes Cemetery is located just west of the intersection of White Bear Avenue and Larpenteur Avenue, near the city borders of Saint Paul and Maplewood.

NOTE: Christie Place is a one-way street running west to east. Entrance onto Christie Place can only be made from Hazelwood / Prosperity Avenue.
Driving Directions
From Downtown Saint Paul:
Follow Interstate 35E North and exit at Maryland Avenue. Turn right (east) onto Maryland and continue to Prosperity Avenue. Turn left (north) onto Prosperity and continue to Idaho Avenue. Note that Prosperity becomes Hazelwood along the way. At the 4-way stop sign intersection at Idaho, continue north through the intersection and immediately turn right onto a diagonal one-way street called Christie Place. This is a one-way street heading east. The cemetery main gate will be on your right.
From Minneapolis:
Following 94: Follow Interstate 94 toward Saint Paul and exit onto Interstate 35E North. Follow Interstate 35E North and exit at Maryland Avenue. Turn right (east) onto Maryland and continue to Prosperity Avenue. Turn left (north) onto Prosperity and continue to Idaho Avenue. Note that Prosperity becomes Hazelwood along the way. At the 4-way stop sign intersection at Idaho, continue north through the intersection and immediately turn right onto a diagonal one-way street called Christie Place. Following Highway 36: Follow Interstate 35W North and exit onto Highway 36 East. Follow Highway 36 and exit at White Bear Avenue. At the off-ramp light, turn right (south) onto White Bear Avenue. Follow White Bear to the intersection at Larpenteur. Turn right (west) onto Larpenteur Avenue and follow to the first 4-way stop sign intersection at Prosperity/Hazelwood. Turn left (south) onto Prosperity/Hazelwood. Just before you reach the first 4-way stop sign intersection at Idaho Ave., turn left (east) onto a diagonal one-way street called Christie Place. This is a one-way street heading east. The cemetery main gate will be on your right.
From the Northern Suburbs:
Follow Interstate 694 and exit at White Bear Avenue. Head South on White Bear to Larpenteur Avenue. Turn right (west) onto Larpenteur Avenue and follow to the first 4-way stop sign intersection at Prosperity/Hazelwood. Turn left (south) onto Prosperity/Hazelwood. Just before you reach the first 4-way stop sign intersection at Idaho Ave., turn left (east) onto a diagonal one-way street called Christie Place. This is a one-way street heading east. The cemetery main gate will be on your right.
Where to Park 
You may park along any of the roads in the cemetery — except where you see “no parking” signs. Please do not block access in-to or out-of the gate. You may also park along Christie Place. Please be courteous of our neighbors by not parking in front of any driveways.
Times of Operation
To reduce overhead and operating expenses, all access to the main entrance gate, and to the cemetery grounds, are kept closed to visitors from October to April each year. We do, however, remain open year round for burials.
Opening Day Sunday, April 2, 2023 weather permitting.
Closing Day Friday, October 27, 2023 through the winter months, except for funerals.

Sunday through Thursday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Friday 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
Shabbat Hours
The cemetery grounds are closed
from 3:00 pm on Fridays to 9:00 am on Sundays
in observance of Shabbat.

New Year’s Hours – El Moley Rachamim Prayer
Our chapel will be OPEN SUNDAYS from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on the following dates so that families can come to recite the El Moley Rachamim Prayer for their dearly departed ones:
Rosh Hashanah Prior to Rosh Hashanah on September 3 & September 10, 2023
Yom Kippur Prior to Yom Kippur on September 17, 2023
