Memorial Day Observance
OBSERVANCE OF OUR DEPARTED MILITARY VETERANS ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED FOR MONDAY, MAY 25, 2020 AT CHESED SHEL EMES CEMETERY IS CANCELLED.
THE CEMETERY WILL BE OPEN FOR VISITING BUT THE CHAPEL AND RESTROOMS WILL BE CLOSED.

The Jewish War Veterans of Minnesota will conduct its annual tribute to honor our departed military veterans who rest at Chesed Shel Emes Cemetery. At that time, the names of those veterans interred will be acknowledged by roll call.
The names of Jewish War Veterans resting at the following cemeteries will also be read:
Sons of Abraham
West Side Hebrew Cemetery
Attendees are invited to join the minyan and recite the Mourners’ Kaddish.
Board members, membership, families, friends and the public are all welcome to come.
The event is free of charge.
Complimentary coffee is served.
This event is held outdoors at the Memorial Garden. Please be mindful of weather conditions and dress accordingly.
Kindly park outside the main gate on Christie Place.
Please note that the cemetery will open for the season on Monday, April 1, 2020 (weather permitting) should you wish to visit prior to Memorial Day.
