Memorial Day Observance

We are pleased to announce

the annual Memorial Day Service to honor

our departed military veterans

will once again be held on

 

 

Monday, May 29, 2023

9:30 am

 

 

 

 

 

The Jewish War Veterans of Minnesota will conduct its annual tribute to honor our departed military veterans who rest at Chesed Shel Emes Cemetery.  At that time, the names of those veterans interred will be acknowledged by roll call.

 

The names of Jewish War Veterans resting at the following cemeteries               will also be read:

Sons of Abraham

West Side Hebrew Cemetery

Russian Brotherhood 

 

 

Attendees are invited to join the minyan and recite the Mourners’ Kaddish.

Board members, membership, families, friends and the public are all welcome to come.

The event is free of charge.

Complimentary coffee is served.

This event is held outdoors at the Memorial Garden.  Please be mindful of weather conditions and dress accordingly.

Kindly park outside the main gate on Christie Place.

 

Please note that the cemetery will open for the season on Monday, April 3, 2023 (weather permitting) should you wish to visit prior to Memorial Day.
